Facilities at Pier 21
Overlooking the Swan River and drenched in sun, our outdoor pool is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Relax on the lounges, take a lazy splash in the pool, and watch the world go by.
Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi
Our indoor heated pool and jacuzzi are perfect for those days when you want to take a plunge but don’t necessarily want to be outside. Slip into warm, perfectly heated water. Our jacuzzi is perfect for sitting in and soaking, to unwind, and to completely relax.
Nothing says leisure time quite like a game of tennis, does it? Our full-sized tennis court is available for hire, whether a competitive or casual hit. You can grab your racquets and balls from reception, available in adults’ and kids’ sizes. The court is open from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm.
While your time with us should be relaxing, we don’t want to derail your fitness goals. Our modern, fully-equipped gym has all the necessary equipment to continue your routine. Open from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm, you’ll find everything you need for a full-strength workout, or if cardio is more your scene, we’ve got you covered. Our friendly front desk team can advise when busy and quiet times are so you can plan your workout accordingly.
If full-sized tennis isn’t your thing, we’ve got the next best thing. Table tennis is something everyone can get into. Located by the gym, our table tennis space provides kids and the young at heart with a place to play, show off your skills—or lack of—and just have fun.
BBQ facilities and poolside dining
In the perfect WA weather, there’s nothing better than a barbecue as the sun goes down. Our fully-equipped poolside BBQ is free for you to cook up a delicious feast to enjoy with friends and family. Overlooking the Swan River has everything you need to make your stay feel like home.
The warm water of the Swan River is just made to be explored. But sometimes you don’t feel like swimming—in those times, there’s no better way to do it than jumping on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP). SUPs allow you to take things at a leisurely pace. Make your way around our patch of the river and beyond, and see the water from a different angle. SUPs are available for free hire for guests.
Cycling is the perfect way to get out and see the Swan River and Fremantle faster. Pier 21 backs onto an array of walking and riding tracks. We have a selection of bikes available for hire, free for guests, to help you see more during your time with us while feeling the wind on your face as you make your way around the river.
What pairs perfectly with a summer barbecue? Fresh fish that you’ve caught yourself. You can hire a selection of fishing rods from our front reception; just speak to our friendly team about what you need. Then, head down to the beach before Pier 21 or walk along the jetty. Whiting, tailoring, and flathead are all known to frequent the area, so cast out a line and try your luck.

Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM for all apartments and suites.
Photo ID and the credit card used to make the reservation will be required at check-in.
Should you have a late check-in, we will provide you with a code to access your room key, along with directions and more information in a lock box.
Late check-out fees apply and are dependent on the availability.
We can certainly try and accommodate an earlier check-in, depending on the availability.
Let us know if you would like to extend your checkout time and we will let you know depending on the availability. (Some fees may apply).
If you have booked a non-refundable rate, no cancellations or modifications will be accepted. If you have booked the best flexible rate, you can cancel and modify your booking up to 24 hours prior to your arrival.
We do have cots and highchairs available upon request. Additional charges will apply for hire.
Not that you will want to spend your time doing laundry, we have a free laundry with new Maytag Machines for you to use. This is open 24 hours also.
Parking is complimentary in a first come first serve basis.. As our parking is gated, you will need to park behind reception in the 15 minute unloading zone. Once checked-in you will be given a key to access our secure parking.
We are a dog-friendly hotel, and all dog-friendly rooms will be allocated on the ground floor of the hotel. We charge a refundable $200.00 bond for any incidentals and $55.00 additional charge for your dog per night.
We sure do. Our breakfast lounge is open 7 days a week and we also serve breakfast to your room with no additional tray fees. Our Breakfast Hours are:
Mon – Fri 07:00 AM – 09:30 AM
Sat & Sun 07:00 AM -10:00 AM (including public holidays)
